Notice is hereby given that East Sussex County
Council have made an Order under the relevant sections of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, coming into operation on
19 July 2021, which amends the Rother Map-Based Traffic Regulation
Order to include an existing clearway and no waiting at any time
restriction as follows;
Rural Clearway - No Stopping At Any Time
Lydd Road, Camber - from the western side of its junction with The Suttons, eastwards to a point 203 metres west of Wall Farm Lane, for a distance of 1355 metres.
No Waiting At Any Time
Lydd Road, Camber - south side - from a point 203 metres west of Wall Farm Lane, eastwards for a distance of 484 metres.
The proposal reflects the existing restrictions on street and no changes to current restrictions are proposed.
A copy of the Order, plans showing the lengths of road and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing the Order along with a copy of the Order being amended can be viewed in Reception, East Sussex County Council, County Hall, St. Anne’s Crescent, Lewes BN7 1UE on Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm or online at https://consultation.eastsussex.gov.uk/economy-transport-environment/camber-rural-clearway
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act of 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Road Traffic Regulation Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks of the date the Order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
