Purpose:
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out
works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections
14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
amended, which will temporarily restrict all traffic using the
following lengths of road to a speed not exceeding 40
mph:-

Temporary 40 mph Speed Limit
South Road - outside Bevern Bridge Farm for a distance of 200
metres
The Order commences 21 June 2022 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
However, it is anticipated the speed restriction will be in place
on 21 June 2022.
