To enable Beech Homes Properties and
Developments Ltd safe access and egress for development works, East
Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and
15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which
will temporarily close the following length of road;
The Order commences 22 October 2018 and lasts
for a period of 18 months, or until the works are completed,
whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated the works will
be undertaken between 22 October and 28 June 2019 depending upon
the weather conditions.

Temporary Road Closure
U2122 Mill Gap Road - from the junction of U2112 Selwyn Road to
U2108 St Annes Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access
for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with
an alternative route for through traffic signed and maintained for
the duration of the works via U2112 Selwyn Road - U2124 Arundel
Road - U2108 St Annes Road and vice versa
