Purpose:

NOTICE is hereby given that East Sussex County Council have made the above named Order under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, coming into operation on 17 December 2018, which removes Ambulance Bays in the following lengths of road:-

Decision:

A copy of the made Order, plans showing the lengths of road and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing the Order, can be inspected in Reception, East Sussex County Council, County Hall, St Anne’s Crescent, Lewes, BN7 1UE Monday to Friday 9am – 4pm and at Eastbourne Library, Grove Road, Eastbourne BN21 4TL Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 10am - 5pm, Wednesday 10am -1pm and Thursday 10am – 6pm.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act of 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Road Traffic Regulation Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks of the date the Order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
