Report by the Director of Communities, Economy and Transport

26.1     The Committee considered a report by the Director of Communities, Economy and Transport, together with correspondence received since the publication of the agenda.

26.2     The Chair indicated that he supported the recommendation in regard of the following sites for which he is the Local Member: sites 8, 24 and 25.      

26.3     The Chair conveyed that the following Members supported the recommendation regarding the following sites:

            Councillor Charman – sites 1, 2, 10, 11 and 12

            Councillor Forward – site 7

            Councillor Rogers – sites 22 and 23

26.4     Members have considered the report and comments conveyed by the Chair and agree with the conclusions and reasons for recommendation as set out in paragraph 3 of the report.

26.5     RESOLVED to (1) uphold the objections to the draft Traffic Regulation Order as set out in Appendix 2 to the report; 

(2) not uphold the objections to the draft Traffic Regulation Order set out in Appendix 3; and

(3) recommend to the Director of Communities, Economy and Transport that the draft Traffic Regulation Order be made in part.
