Coronavirus (Covid-19) contingency arrangements Report by the Assistant Chief Executive Minutes: 16.1 The Leader and Lead Member considered a report by the Chief Executive, together with the suggestion of a “sunset” clause.
DECISIONS
16.2 The Leader and Lead Member RESOLVED to (1) delegate authority to the Chief Executive to take any executive decision which she considers appropriate in response to the outbreak of Covid-19, and
(2) review the delegation in October 2020.
Reasons
16.3 The current situation is moving at pace and requires decisions to be taken at short notice. It may in certain situations not be possible or prudent to wait for a Lead Member to take the decisions. |

Amendment to Scheme of Delegation in relation to Executive functions Report by the Assistant Chief Executive Minutes: 17.1 The Leader and Lead Member was informed that the Delegations contained in the report were no longer being sought.
DECISIONS
17.2 The Leader and Lead Member RESOLVED to agree to the withdrawal of the report. |
