19/07/2021 - The East Sussex (C26 New Town / C58 Lewes Road, Ridgewood / B2102 High Street / New Town, Uckfield)( Temporary One-way Traffic, Temporary Prohibition of Parking, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2021

Temporary One-way Traffic
C26 New Town - restricting traffic travelling southbound from the junction with B2102 Framfield Road to Highlands roundabout.
Restriction is anticipated to be in place between 24 July & 3 September 2021.

Alternative route for southbound through traffic via B2102 High Street - Bell Lane - Bell Farm Road – A22 Uckfield Bypass – C58 Lewes Road

Temporary Prohibition of Parking
C26 New Town – both sides - from the junction with B2102 Framfield Road to Highlands roundabout
Restriction is anticipated to be in place between 24 July & 3 September 2021.

As works progress, the following additional traffic management measures may be required during the period 6 September to 30 November 2021. Consultation and advanced warning signage will be placed on site when the exact dates are known.

C58 Lewes Road – from the A22 Little Horsted roundabout to Ridgewood House

Temporary One-way Traffic
B2102 High Street / New Town - restricting traffic travelling southbound from the junction with B2102 Framfield Road to the junction with B2102 Bell Lane

Alternative route for southbound through traffic via B2102 Bell Lane - Bell Farm Road – A22 Uckfield Bypass – C58 Lewes Road

Temporary Road Closure
C58 Lewes Road - from the junction with the Little Horsted roundabout to the junction with U7723 New Barn Lane

Diversion via C26 Eastbourne Road – A22 Uckfield Bypass and vice versa.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.

The Order commences 24 July 2021 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated restrictions will be in place as detailed above depending upon the weather conditions.
