To consider a 12-month term extension for the Transport for the South East technical call off contract and increase its value by £2m. The technical call off contracted was procured in July 2023 with an initial contract period of 2 years with an “allowed for modification” option to extend to a third year with an initial value of up to £4m and a further £2m additional value subject to funding. The Transport for the South East Partnership Board approved the allowed for extension in January 2025, therefore the contract currently runs from 24 July 2023 – 31 July 2026, with a value of £4m. As Transport for the South East’s requirements for technical support beyond April 2027 are uncertain, the extension of the current contract will ensure continued support to Local Transport Authorities at a time of great change, providing continuity and consistency.
