Community Integrated Care is the incumbent
care and support provider at the Burfield Court and Gilda Close
supported living schemes. These 2 schemes support and accommodate
up to 20 individuals with a learning disability.
The current contract commenced on the 1st April 2021. This was
awarded for a 5-year period taking the contract end date to 31st
March 2026. However, the contract includes a 24-month extension
period enabling the contract to be extended to 31st March 2028 and
through consultation with key stakeholders a 2-year contract
extension has been identified as the preferred option.
Community Integrated Care is registered with CQC and is rated
“Good”. Performance throughout the initial 5-year
contract period has enabled tenants to experience good outcomes
whilst providing value for money to ESCC.
The decision is to support the additional 24-month term extension
of the existing service Contract at Burfield Court and Gilda Close
under its current terms.
