On 21st September, my 11 year old brother was knocked down by a car overtaking the school bus as he attempted to cross the busy road. He suffered a serious head injury but is recovering well. This accident came as the result of there being no safe space to cross the busy main road. I, along with a large proportion of Wivelsfield Green residents, am looking to have a safe pedestrian crossing along with speed control on the stretch of road between The Green to Wivelsfield Primary School.
