Reason for urgency: On 13 October, the Council took a decision to re-evaluate the Extra Care. A decision will be made on 27 October, with bidders being advised of the outcome on 4 November, to allow sufficient time for the call-in period. It is now not possible to meet the 28 day notification requirement as sufficient time is required to mobilise new contracts and ensure the safety of residents.
