To take the final decision on the proposal to lower the age range at Cradle Hill Community Primary School

Decisions:

57.1             The Lead Member considered a report by the Director of Children’s Services seeking approval of a change of age range at Cradle Hill Community Primary School from 4-11 to 2-11.

57.2             RESOLVED – to approve a change of age range at Cradle Hill Community Primary School from 4-11 to 2-11 with effect from 1 September 2022.

 

Reasons

 

57.3             The proposal to lower the age range at Cradle Hill Community Primary School from 4-11 to 2-11 will enable nursey provision to be re-established on the school site. It will support the governing board’s vision to integrate nursey provision into the Early Years Foundation Stage.

57.4             Feedback from the initial consultation was positive, with all respondents supportive of the proposal. A local needs survey also indicated local support for nursey provision on the school site. No comments or objections were received during the representation period following publication of the statutory proposal.
