To consider concerns raised by objector regarding the provision of an advisory disabled parking bay in Tower Road, St Leonards on Sea

14.1     The Lead Member considered a report by the Director of Communities, Economy and Transport.

DECISIONS

14.2     RESOLVED to (1) note the concerns raised by the objector;  

(2) approve in principle the introduction of an advisory disabled bay in Tower Road, St Leonards on Sea in line with either Option 1 or Option 2; and

(3) delegate authority to the Director of Communities, Economy and Transport to determine the final location of the bay following further consultation between officers and the objector.   

Reasons

14.3     The need for the disabled bay was identified by the site assessment undertaken by the Parking Services Team.  Due to mobility impairment the applicant has an established need for parking as close as practicable to their property.  The requirements of Policy PS4/18 have been met in this case.  The final location of the bay will be determined by officers in consultation with the objector.
