Purpose:

 

To consider Nominations Agreements for Extra Care and Learning Disability House Schemes

Decisions:

11.1     The Leader and Lead Member considered a report by the Assistant Chief Executive.

 

DECISION

 

11.2     RESOLVED to (1) delegate authority to the Director of Adult Social Care and Health to approve the terms of, and enter into, Nominations Agreements and any Nominations Protocols in respect of Extra Care and Learning Disability Housing Schemes, the Director to notify the Leader and the Lead Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care of the entering into of an agreement; and

 

(2)        approve the amendments to the Scheme of Delegations in the Constitution accordingly.

 

Reasons

 

11.3     The County Council will commission specialist providers to deliver care and support as part of the Strategy for supported housing and housing support 2013-18.  Access to the schemes will then be governed by a Nominations Agreement which will preserve nomination rights to the Extra Care and / or Learning Disability properties.  The delegation will facilitate the progress of future schemes.
