NOTICE is hereby given that East Sussex County
Council have made the above Order under the relevant sections of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other
enabling powers, coming into operation on 22 November 2019 which
introduces new, or revises existing prescribed routes along the
following lengths of road:-
A copy of the Order, plans showing the lengths
of road, and a statement of the Council’s reasons for
proposing the Order, along with copies of those parts of old Orders
being amended may be examined in Reception, East Sussex County
Council, County Hall, St Anne’s Crescent, Lewes, BN7 1UE
Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm and at Eastbourne Borough Council, 1
Grove Road, Eastbourne BN21 4TW on Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, at
Eastbourne Library, Grove Road, Eastbourne BN21 4TL on Monday,
Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 10am to 5pm, Wednesday 10am to 1pm and
Thursday 10am to 6pm
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of
its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers
conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act of 1984, or on the
grounds that any requirement of the Road Traffic Regulation Act or
of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in
relation to the Order, may within six weeks of the date the Order
was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.

roads;
Hyde Gardens (south), Hyde Gardens (east) and Terminus Road
Changes to No Right Turn in the following road;
Gildredge Road
Changes to No Left Turn in the following roads;
Hyde Gardens and Sutton Road (slip road access to Ashford
Road)
Removal of Right Turn Only and replace with Left Turn Only in the
following roads;
Terminus Road (pedestrian precinct) and West Terrace
Introduce Prohibition of Driving in the following road;
Hyde Gardens (northern arm)
Changes to Prohibition of Entry in the following roads;
Cornfield Road, Gildredge Road and Hyde Gardens (southern
arm)
Changes to Prohibition of Motor Vehicles except Terminus Road
loading permit holders in the following road;
Terminus Road
Changes to Prohibition of Entry except for buses and Terminus Road
loading permit holders in the following road;
Terminus Road
Introduce Prohibition of Vehicles Except Local Buses at Any Time
and taxis midnight – 5am in the following roads;
Terminus Road and Cornfield Road
