Purpose:

Notice is hereby given that East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Section 84 (1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, coming into operation 9 March 2020, which will extend the 30 mph speed limit on the following length of road:-

Decision:

A copy of the Order, plans showing the lengths of road and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing the Order, along with those parts of Orders being revoked and consolidated into this Order, may be examined in Reception, East Sussex County Council, County Hall, St Anne’s Crescent, Lewes BN7 1UE on Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm and at Battle Library, 7 Market Square, Battle TN33 0XB on Tuesday 10am - 4pm, Wednesday 10am – 1pm, Thursday 11am – 6pm, Friday and Saturday 10am – 5pm.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act of 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Road Traffic Regulation Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks of the date the Order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
