To allow O'Halloran & O'Brien Ltd to carry
out works for a new road layout, East Sussex County Council have
made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the
following lengths of road;
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians
and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained
whenever possible.
The Order commences 21 June 2021 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken as detailed
above depending upon the weather conditions.

Temporary Road Closures
Park Road - from its junction with U7693 Station Road to its
junction with A271 Hawkswood Road.
Works are scheduled to be in place from 2 August to 3 September
2021.
Diversion via A271 Hawkswood Road, Amberstone - C343 New
Road.
New Road - from its junction with C208 Park Road to its junction
with C15 Featherbed Lane.
Works are scheduled to be in place from 21 June to 30 July
2021.
