To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out
works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections
14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
amended, which will temporarily restrict all traffic using the
following lengths of road to a speed not exceeding 30
mph:-
Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit
Heathfield Road - from its junction with U6906 Willingford Lane to
its junction with U6199 Batemans Lane
The Order commences 15 July 2022 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
However, it is anticipated the speed restriction will be in place
from 09:00hrs to 16:00hrs on 15 July 2022.
