To allow South East Water to carry out works,
East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1)
and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended,
which will temporarily close the following lengths of
road;
Temporary Road Closures
Moat Lane - from the junction with C328 Foxhunt Green to the
junction with C208 The Street
Diversion via C208 The Street - Rocks Lane – C328 Foxhunt
Green and vice versa.
Hawkhurst Lane - from the junction with C13 Moat Lane to the
junction with U7405 Hollow Lane
Diversion via U7405 Hollow Lane – U7027 Laundry Lane –
C13 Scallows Lane and vice versa.
Possingworth Lane - from the junction with C13 Moat Lane to the
junction with B2102 Lewes Road
Diversion via C13 Rosers Cross Lane - Firgrove Road - B2102 Lewes
Road and vice versa.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access
for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 25 July 2022 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 25 July
& 22 December 2022 depending upon the weather conditions.
