To seek agreement for amendments to the following Highways Policies.
The Highway Asset Management Strategy and the Highway Asset Management Policy set out the council’s long-term strategic approach from which we develop our Asset Management Plans for each highway asset group (structures, drainage, lighting etc.)
Amendments reflect current best practice guidance, including a review of the Network Hierarchy, which details the process used to define each road, ranging from Strategic Route down to Minor Road.
