To allow SGN to carry out works, East Sussex
County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will
temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Church Road - from its junction with C40 High Street to no.15
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access
for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with
an alternative route for through traffic via U7342 Church Road/St
John’s Road – C40 High Street and vice versa.
The Order commences 23 January 2023 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 23
January and 24 February 2023 depending upon the weather
conditions.
