NOTICE is hereby given that East Sussex County
Council have made an Order under the relevant sections of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) as amended, and
of all other enabling powers, which would extend the no waiting at
any time restrictions (double yellow lines) along the length of
road described below;
Prohibition of waiting at any time
Harrow Lane
West Side
from a point 14 metres north of the centre of the northern access
to Ashdown House, north eastwards for a distance of 161
metres.
A copy of the Order, plan showing the length of road and a
statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order can
be viewed in Reception, East Sussex County Council, County Hall,
St. Anne’s Crescent, Lewes BN7 1UE on Monday to Friday
between 9am and 4pm or online at

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of
its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers
conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act of 1984, or on the
grounds that any requirement of the Road Traffic Regulation Act or
of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in
relation to the Order may, within six weeks of 15 March 2024, apply
to the High Court for this purpose.
