To allow SGN to carry out works, East Sussex
County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will
temporarily close the following lengths of road;
Temporary Road Closures
All Saints Street - from the junction with U3214 Harold Road to the
junction with U3212 Rock-A-Nore Road.
Diversion via U3214 Harold Road - A259 The Bourne, East Beach
Street - U3212 Rock-A-Nore Road.
To facilitate these works and maintain access to/from the northern
extent of All Saints Street it will be necessary to suspend the
one-way system by making the road 2 way for traffic.
Courthouse Street - from the junction with A259 The Bourne to the
junction with U3214 All Saints Street.
Diversion via A259 The Bourne, East Beach Street - U3212
Rock-A-Nore Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access
for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 22 April 2024 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 22
April & 21 October 2024 depending upon the weather
conditions.
