To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out
works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections
14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
amended, which will temporarily close the following lengths of
road;
Temporary Road Closures
Terminus Road - from the junction with U2132 Cornfield Road to the
junction with U2133 Bolton Road.
Terminus Road - from the junction with U2133 Bolton Road to the
junction with B2136 Langney Road.
Bolton Road - from the junction with U2135 Lismore Road to the
junction with U2134 Terminus Road.
Langney Road - from the junction with U2134 Terminus Road to the
junction with U2134 Susans Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access
for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with
an alternative route for through traffic via A259 Memorial
roundabout, South Street, Gildredge Road, Ashford Road, Susans
Road.
The Order commences 11 August 2025 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 11
August 2025 & 30 April 2026 depending upon the weather
conditions.
