Purpose:

NOTICE is hereby given that East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Section 84 (1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, coming into operation on 19 November 2018, which introduces a 30 mph speed limit in the following length of road;

Decision:

A copy of the made Order, plans showing the lengths of road and a statement of the County Council’s reasons for proposing the Order can be inspected in Reception, East Sussex County Council, County Hall, St Anne’s Crescent, Lewes Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm and at Heathfield Library, 21 High Street, Heathfield TN21 8LU Monday and Saturday 10am - 1pm, Tuesday 10am – 5pm, Thursday 2pm -6pm and Friday 10am - 4pm.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act of 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Road Traffic Regulation Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks of the date the Order is made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
