Notice is hereby given that East Sussex County Council have made the above named Order in part, under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers, coming into operation on 4 February 2019 which introduces, amends and revokes various restrictions along the following lengths of roads:

A copy of the made Order, plans showing the lengths of road affected, and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing the Order, along with copies of those parts of old Orders being revoked may be examined in Reception, East Sussex County Council, County Hall, St Anne’s Crescent, Lewes, BN7 1UE on Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm, and Hastings Library, Brassey Institute, 13 Claremont, Hastings, TN34 1HE on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 10am to 5pm, Wednesday 10am to 1pm, Thursday 10am to 6pm.

The previously advertised proposals insofar as they relate to Bexhill Road (replacing a section of time limited waiting with a bus stop clearway) Little Ridge Avenue (installing time limited waiting on the north-east side) have been abandoned, the proposal in Braybrooke Road (amending the shared parking bay to accommodate a disabled bay) have been withdrawn as the disabled bay is no longer needed and the proposal relating to Robsack Avenue (installing no waiting at any time) has been modified following consideration of the objections received and decisions made at Planning Committee.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act of 1987, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Road Traffic Regulation Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks of the Order being made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
