Notice is hereby given that East Sussex County Council have made the above Order in part, under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers coming into operation on 4 February 2019 which introduces, amends and revokes various restrictions along the following lengths of roads:-

A copy of the Order, plans showing the lengths of road and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing the Order along with copies of those parts of the old Orders being revoked may be examined in Reception, East Sussex County Council, County Hall, Lewes on Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm and at Lewes Library, Styles Field, Friars Walk, Lewes Monday 10am-2pm, Tuesday 10am-5pm, Thursday 10am-6pm, Friday and Saturday 10am –5pm.
The previously advertised proposals insofar as they relate to the relocation of the Loading Bay in the High Street has been abandoned following consideration of the objections received and decisions made at Planning Committee.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Act of 1987, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Road Traffic Act or of any of the instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks of the date the Order is made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
