To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out
carriageway surfacing works, East Sussex County Council have made
an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the
following lengths of road in phases;
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians
and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained
whenever possible.
The Order commenced 26 October 2020 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 6 &
14 April 2021 depending upon the weather conditions.

Warrior Square to its junction with A259 Grand Parade.
Diversion via U3160 Warrior Square - U3295 Warrior Square - A259
Grand Parade.
Phase 2; U3295 Warrior Square - from its junction with U3160 St
Margarets Road to its junction with A259 Eversfield Place.
Diversion Southbound via U3160 Warrior Square - A2102 Warrior
Square - A259 Grand Parade & Northbound via A259 Grand Parade -
A2102 London Road - A2102 Norman Road - U3160 Warrior Square.
