To allow Southern Water to carry out works,
East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1)
and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended,
which will temporarily close the following lengths of
road;
Temporary Road Closures
Pebsham Lane - from the junction with A2036 Wrestwood Road to the
junction with U6723 Roundacres Way.
Restriction is anticipated to be in place between 23 March & 18
July 2023.
Diversion via A2036 Wrestwood Road – U6725 Third Avenue /
Haslam Crescent - U6728 Seabourne Road – U6724 Pebsham Lane
and vice versa.
Wrestwood Road - from the junction with U6724 Pebsham Lane to the
junction with P6680 Chapel Walk.
Restriction is anticipated to be in place between 1 & 24 April
2023.
Diversion via A2036 Wrestwood Road - A269 London Road – A2690
Combe Valley Way – A259(T) King Offa Way - De La Warr Road
– A2036 Hastings Road - Wrestwood Road and vice versa.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access
for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 23 March 2023 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken as detailed
above depending upon the weather conditions.
