The initial 5 year term of the Civil Parking
Enforcement contract ends on 30 June 2023 and so a decision was
made to extend it for a further 5 allowable years.
A five year allowable extension to the current
enforcement contract that includes some increased costs, also
allowed for in the contract.
Tendering for new contract was considered,
however the benefits of extending the current contract were
considered greater than that of a re-tender.
