To seek Lead Member approval to publish a School Organisation Plan for the period 2025 to 2029.  The School Organisation Plan sets out how East Sussex County Council (the local authority), in accordance with its statutory duty, seeks to ensure there are sufficient primary, secondary, and special school places in the right locations to meet demand.

30.1     The Lead Member considered a report by the Director of Children’s Services.

DECISIONS

30.2     The Lead Member RESOLVED to approve the School Organisation Plan 2025 to 2029 for publication.

REASONS

30.3     The draft School Organisation Plan for the period 2025 to 2029 sets out how the Local Authority seeks to ensure there are sufficient primary, secondary and special school places in the right locations to meet demand in accordance with its statutory duty.
