The Committee considered the Forward Plan and the date and number of future ORBIS Joint Committee meetings in 2019.

Resolved: The Committee approved the forward plan and noted the need to arrange future dates.

Key points raised during the discussion:

1. Members discussed potential services within the Orbis Partnership that it would be beneficial for the Committee to receive an update on. It was decided to delay agreement on which service to receive an update from in January 2019 until the end of the meeting as discussions during the meeting could reveal issues that the Committee may wish to consider in more detail through a Service Update.

RESOLVED:

That the Orbis Joint Committee reviewed and approved its forward plan

For Members to consider and comment on the Committee’s Forward Plan.

9.1     Councillor Clack stated that she would like an overview of Surrey County Council’s Transformation Plan to be presented at the next Committee.

9.2     Committee Members asked Officers to look at moving the meetings from Friday afternoon and possibly looking at using a venue which was equidistant for the Members rather than meeting at a Town/ County Hall. Councillors also asked Officers to establish what quorum would be for the Committee to potentially allow a smaller contingent to meet to ratify a minor decision.

9.3     RESOLVED: That the Committee approve the forward plan.
