Agenda and draft minutes

57.1     The Committee approved as a correct record the minutes of the meeting held on 11 February 2026.

58.1     Apologies for absence were received from Councillors Kathryn Field, Eleanor Kirby-Green and Pat Rodohan.

Disclosures by all members present of personal interests in matters on the agenda, the nature of any interest and whether the member regards the interest as prejudicial under the terms of the Code of Conduct.

59.1     There were none.

Notification of items which the Chair considers to be urgent and proposes to take at the appropriate part of the agenda. Any members who wish to raise urgent items are asked, wherever possible, to notify the Chair before the start of the meeting. In so doing, they must state the special circumstances which they consider justify the matter being considered urgent.

60.1     There were none.

61.1     Reports referred to in the minutes below are contained in the minute book.

Report by the Director of Communities, Economy and Transport

62.1     The Committee considered a report by the Director of Communities, Economy and Transport.

62.2     Mr Ben Garcia spoke for the proposal and in support of the officer’s recommendations.

62.3     Committee Members have considered the report and comments from the public speaker and agree with the conclusions and reasons for the recommendations as set out in the report.

62.4     The Committee RESOLVED to:

1)  not uphold the objections to the draft Order as set out in Appendix 2 to the report; and

2)  recommend to the Director of Communities, Economy and Transport that the  Traffic Regulation Order be made as advertised.
