1.1       RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the last meeting held on 22 April 2015

2.1       Copies of the reports referred to below are contained in the minute book

3.1       The Committee considered a report by the Assistant Chief Executive that provided an update in relation to Member conduct issues and the work of the Standards Committee.   

3.2       It was RESOLVED to:

             (1) note the report; and

            (2) agree the report for submission to the County Council for consideration 

To consider excluding the public and press from the meeting for the remaining agenda items on the grounds that if the public and press were present there would be disclosure to them of exempt information as specified in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) namely information relating to an individual.

4.1       It was RESOLVED to exclude the press and public from the meeting for the remaining agenda items on the grounds that if the press and public were present there would be disclosure to them of exempt information as specified in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended), namely information relating to an individual.

5.1       The Committee considered a report by the Assistant Chief Executive, the report considered by the Assessment Sub Committee and the Decision Notice, the Investigating Officer’s report and the observations  of the Independent Person.  

5.2       It was RESOLVED to accept the finding of no failure (ie that the subject Member had not breached the Code) and that a ‘Finding of no Failure’ Notice be sent to the Subject Member and the Complainant
