Report by the Director of Communities, Economy and Transport

4.1       The Committee considered a report by the Director of Communities, Economy and Transport.  The Chair reported that the Local Member supported the recommendations.

4.2       Mr Brian Richardson, a local resident, spoke in support of the recommendations.

4.3       A motion to amend Recommendation 2 was moved, seconded, voted on and lost.

4.4       Members have considered the report and agree with the conclusions and reasons for recommendation as set out at paragraph 3 of the report.

4.5       RESOLVED to (1) not uphold the objections to the draft Traffic Regulation Order as set out in Appendix 2 to the report; 

(2) uphold the objections to the draft Traffic Regulation Order, as set out in Appendix 3 to the report; and

(3) recommend to the Director of Communities, Economy and Transport that the draft Traffic Regulation Order be made in part.
