In light of
Government advice related to coronavirus, public committee meetings
(including Lead Member meetings) will be held remotely until
further notice.
Please contact
Democratic Services if any further information is
required regarding forthcoming meetings of this committee.
The Health and Wellbeing Board is
committed to improving health and wellbeing across East Sussex,
especially for people, places and communities who currently have
the worst health outcomes. It will make sure there is a shared and
comprehensive understanding of local health and wellbeing needs,
and a clear strategy to meet them.
The Health and Wellbeing Board is an
unusual council committee because officers vote alongside
councillors and other local representatives. It has statutory
powers and meets in public.
Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2016-2019 – the
Board's strategy is published on the website of the East Sussex
Strategic Partnership, please look in Useful documents in right
hand column.
The terms of reference of this
committee can be found in Part 3 Table 5 of the Council’s
Constitution.
