High Street - from the junction with C213 Church Lane to the
junction with U6196 Burgh Hill
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access
for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with
an alternative route for through traffic via A265 Haremere Hill -
Station Road – A21 London Road (T) - Silverhill (T) - Johns
Cross Road (T) – A2100 London Road – A271 North trade
Road - Kitchenham Road - Boreham Hill - Windmill Hill Road -
Hailsham Road - New Road, Amberstone - Hawkswood Road, Upper
Horsebridge, Lower Horsebridge – A267 New North Street -
North Street - Eastbourne Road - Horam Road - Little London Road
– A265 Cross In Hand Road - Mutton Hall Hill - Burwash Road -
Slutts Well - Heathfield Road - High Street - Straight Mile and
vice versa
The Order commences 5 December 2021 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 5 December
2021 depending upon the weather conditions.
