Temporary Road Closure
Rye Road - from the junction with B2082 Iden Road to Broomhill Lodge Hotel

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via A268 Rye Road / Rye Hill / Fishmarket Road – A259(T) Fishmarket Road / South Undercliff / Strand Quay / Winchelsea Road / New Winchelsea Road / Royal Military Road / Tanyard Lane / Ferry Hill / Roberts Hill / Rectory Lane / Hastings Road / Main Road / The Thorne / Rye Road / Winchelsea Road / White Hart Hill / Winchelsea Road – A259 Rye Road / Old London Road / The Bourne / East Beach Street / East Parade / Pelham Place – A2101 Albert Road / Queens Road / St Helens Road – A21 Sedlescombe Road North – A21(T) Sedlescombe Road North – A28 Westfield Lane / Church Lane / Main Road / Brede Road / Brede Hill / Cackle Street / Northiam Road / Horns Cross / Well House Hill / Perrymans Cross / Hastings Road / Main Street / Station Road – A268 Whitebread Lane / Peasmarsh Road / Two Hovens / Barnets Hill / Flackley Ash / Main Street / Rye Road and vice versa.

The Order commences 20 March 2023 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 09:30hrs to 16:00hrs on 20 March 2023 depending upon the weather conditions.
