Temporary Road Closure
South Coast Road – from the junction with P5560 The Highway to the junction with P5575 Links Avenue.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic eastbound via A259 Brighton Road, Lewes Road, North Way, The Drove – A26(T) New Road, Beddingham Road, Newhaven Road – A27(T) Ranscombe Hill, Lewes Bypass, Brighton Road - B2123 The Drove, Falmer Road (Brighton and Hove) – C9260 Warren Road (Brighton and Hove), Wilson Avenue (Brighton and Hove) – B2118 Roedean Road (Brighton and Hove) – A259 Marine Drive (Brighton and Hove) – A259 Marine Drive, South Coast Road and westbound via A259 South Coast Road, Marine Drive – A259 Marine Drive (Brighton and Hove) – B2118 Roedean Road (Brighton and Hove) - C9260 Wilson Avenue (Brighton and Hove), Warren Road (Brighton and Hove) – B2123 Falmer Road (Brighton and Hove) – B2123 The Drove - A27(T) Brighton Road, Lewes Bypass, Ranscombe Hill – A26(T) Newhaven Road, Beddingham Road, New Road – A26 New Road – A259 Drove Road, Station Approach, The Drove, South Way, Brighton Road.

The Order commences 15 April 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 20:00hrs to 05:00hrs between 15 & 20 April 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.
