The purpose of this Order is to facilitate a Safer School Streets
scheme at Southover Primary School and is the confirmation of The
East Sussex (Lewes)(Parking Places, Waiting, No Stopping and
Loading Restrictions) Traffic Regulation Order 2020 Experimental
Traffic Regulation Order 2024 (Southover School Street,
Lewes).
A copy of the made Order, plans showing the lengths of road and a
statement of the Council’s reason for making the Order
permanent, may be examined in Reception, East Sussex County
Council, County Hall, St Anne’s Crescent, Lewes BN7 1UE
Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm and online at;

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of its
provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers
conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds
that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has
not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six
weeks of the date the Order is made, apply to the High Court for
this purpose.
