Temporary Road Closures
Old Willingdon Road - from the junction with C40 Jevington Road to
Friston Field.
Restriction is anticipated to be in place between 9 February &
13 March 2026.
Jevington Road - from the junction with A259 Friston Hill to
Friston Place Cottages.
Diversion via C40 Jevington Road, Wannock Road - A2270 Eastbourne
Road, Willingdon Road, Crossways roundabout, Willingdon Road,
Upperton Road - A259 The Goffs, High Street, Church Street, East
Dean Road, Eastbourne Road, Friston Hill and vice versa.
Restriction is anticipated to be in place between 19 January &
20 February 2026.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access
for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 19 January 2026 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken as detailed
above depending upon the weather conditions.
