The Lead Member is requested to agree the proposal to transfer the responsibility of After School and Holiday Club provision from the Children’s Disability Service to East Sussex Special Schools in order to achieve a more robust and sustainable service for the future, which promotes service improvement and delivery whilst at the same time making the service more cost effective. It also enables the Children’s Disability Service to deliver required savings. As the proposal has the potential to impact both service users and staff it will require both a public consultation and formal consultation with staff. |
