Procurement of the Integrated Community Equipment Service

Approval to commence procurement of the Integrated Community Equipment Service and of the preferred procurement approach.
The new contract for the provision of the East Sussex Integrated Community Equipment Service will commence on 1st April 2023, replacing the existing contract which started in September 2016.
The service provider is responsible for the procurement, delivery, collection, repair, maintenance, decontamination and disposal of community equipment including pressure relief mattresses, beds and hoists, walking aids, chair and bed raisers, commodes and toilet aids and support rails as prescribed by health and social care staff for residents of East Sussex.
