A259 Denmark Place/A2101 Albert Road, Hastings, pedestrian crossing improvements.

East Sussex County Council are proposing to implement a new signalised pedestrian crossing facility across the western arm of the A259 Denmark Place/A2101 Albert Road junction in Hastings. Additionally, it is proposed to remove the existing staggered pedestrian crossing on the eastern arm of the junction and replace it with a straight-across crossing and to provide a signalised crossing over Albert Road. The report summarises the responses to the stakeholder consultation and public ‘infotation’ and seeks approval to continue to the detailed design stage and construction.
