East Sussex County Council are proposing to
implement a new signalised pedestrian crossing facility across the
western arm of the A259 Denmark Place/A2101 Albert Road junction in
Hastings. Additionally, it is proposed to remove the existing
staggered pedestrian crossing on the eastern arm of the junction
and replace it with a straight-across crossing and to provide a
signalised crossing over Albert Road. The report summarises the
responses to the stakeholder consultation and public
‘infotation’ and seeks approval to continue to the
detailed design stage and construction.
