To approve the set-up of an Approved List of providers for Education Services. This will replace the Standards and Learning Effectiveness Service (SLES) Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) which is ending in September 2024. The purpose of the DPS is to drive improvements in East Sussex schools, academies, colleges, and other educational settings at all Key Stages. This Approved List will also provide a service provider arrangement for tutors, Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) consultants, mentors etc.
To approve that, as there is no guarantee of work and no monetary transaction at application stage, the outcome of applications is determined by the application evaluation panel. Call-off contract approvals will be awarded as per the Council’s Standing Orders.
