Change in partnership status: Cabinet agreed in 2014 for ESCC to join Your Energy Sussex (YES) as a strategic partner. However, on reviewing the partnership agreement that WSCC was asking partner authorities to sign up to, Legal Services have confirmed that ESCC is only able to sign up as an Affiliate partner, not a strategic partner. The report to Lead Member is to seek agreement to join YES as an Affiliate partner.
