24.	Disclosure of Interests Disclosure by all Members present of personal interests in matters on the agenda, the nature of any interest and whether the Members regard the interest as prejudicial under the terms of the Code of Conduct. Minutes: 24.1 Councillor Howell declared a personal interest in item 5 as a Member of Wealden District Council. She did not consider this to be prejudicial. 24.2 Councillor Stephen Shing declared a personal interest in item 5 as a Member of Wealden District Council. He did not consider this to be prejudicial. 24.3 Councillor di Cara declared a personal interest in item 5 as a Member of Eastbourne Borough Council. She did not consider this to be prejudicial. 24.4 Councillor Collier declared a personal interest in item 5 as a Member of Lewes District Council. He did not consider this to be prejudicial. 24.5 Councillor Robinson declared a personal interest in item 5 as a Member of Lewes District Council. She did not consider this to be prejudicial.

PDF 761 KB Minutes: 27.1 The Leader and Lead Member considered a report by the Chief Executive. DECISIONS 27.2 The Leader and Lead Member RESOLVED to recommend the Council to: 1) Note the contents of the Government’s consultation on Establishing a Mayoral Combined County Authority across East Sussex, West Sussex and Brighton and Hove Council and report to Cabinet; and 2) Express views to Cabinet on the County Council’s response to the Consultation. REASONS 27.3 The meeting of Full Council affords an opportunity for all Members to contribute to the debate in relation to the establishment of a Mayoral Combined County Authority and provide their opinion and view in relation to how the Cabinet should respond to the Consultation on behalf of the County Council. Members are also able to respond to the consultation individually if they wish.

DECISIONS 28.2 The Leader and Lead Member RESOLVED to recommend the Council to: 1) Note the contents of Government’s letter inviting proposals for a single tier of Local Government across East Sussex; 2) Note the proposed Interim Plan; and 3) Express views to Cabinet on the Interim Plan ahead of submission to Government. REASONS 28.3 The meeting of Full Council affords an opportunity for all Members to express views on the Interim Plan which sets out progress on developing proposals in line with the criteria and guidance ahead of consideration by Cabinet and submission to Government.
