A safe route will be provided for pedestrians
and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained
whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic
signed and maintained for the duration of the works via A259
Eastbourne Road, Pevensey – A259 Wallsend Road, Pevensey
– A27 Pevensey Haven Roundabout, Pevensey – A27
Pevensey Bypass, Westham – A22 Golden Jubilee Way, Westham
– A22 Shinewater Roundabout, Langney – A2290 Lottbridge
Roundabout, Hampden Park – A2290 Lottbridge Drove, Eastbourne
– A259 Seaside Roundabout, Eastbourne – A259 Seaside,
Eastbourne – A259 Langney Roundabout and vice versa.
The Order commences 23 August 2018 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
However, it is anticipated the works will be undertaken as detailed
above, depending upon the weather conditions.
