Additional Information

My Politics:

I started my working life in Local Government, before moving into the private Legal sector, then ultimately becoming CEO within a multi-national company. I have worked in more than 20 countries, with many different cultures and people with very different skill sets.

When I stepped down from my professional career, I wanted to be able to share my wide experience with as many people as possible, and becoming a Councillor seemed to be the best way to do that. I have been a District Councillor for several years, and wanted to further my endeavours by also becoming a County Councillor.

My Community:

I would describe my community as the whole of East Sussex – one of the most beautiful parts of our Country. I care about the whole region, even though Crowborough is my key focus, and of course I want the best I can get for my residents – from whatever part of ESCC.

I will do that through working with our committees and other individual councillors, regardless of political alliances. I believe the fundamental duty of a councillor is to work with others for the benefit of their own Communities, but also for the benefit of our whole County, Districts, Towns and Parishes.
