into operation on 8 July 2022 under Sections 9, 10(1) and (2) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other
enabling powers, for a period not exceeding 18 months which will
experimentally introduce the following restriction:-

distance of 62 metres

westwards for a distance of 15 metres
- south-west side: from the junction of New Lydd Road north
westwards for a distance of 5 metres
Camber Road
- north side: from the junction of Farm Lane westwards for a
distance of 594 metres to the eastern end of the layby
from the western end of the layby, a point 715 metres west of Farm
Lane, westwards for a distance of 778 metres
- south side: from the junction of Farm Lane westwards for a
distance of 1502 metres
The purpose of this Order is to prevent vehicles from parking on
the grass verge during busy periods to ensure emergency vehicles
are able to pass safely when the need arises.

East Sussex County Council will be considering in due course
whether the provisions should be continued in force indefinitely by

Act 1984.
Any person wishing to make an objection or other representation
concerning this Experimental Order being continued must do so in
writing, together with the grounds on which it is made, to

East Sussex County Council, County Hall, St. Anne’s Crescent,
